Sony Xperia V and Sony Xperia T were the leading flagships of Sony before the Sony Xperia Z and Sony Xperia ZL. Both Sony Xperia V and Sony Xperia T are powered by the Snapdragon S4 dual-core processors. Although the processors are slower than the quad-core processor, but the specs of these two devices are powerful. LG Optimus G Pro is the latest flagship for the Korean company. Display and resolution:

The LG Optimus G Pro has a 5.5-inch display with 1080p Full HD resolution while Sony Xperia V has 4.3-inch display and the Sony Xperia T has 4.55-inch display. The resolution of both Sony devices is the same at 720p HD. 

Processor, RAM and ROM:

LG Optimus G Pro is powered by 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 APQ8064T quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. On the other hand, Sony Xperia V is powered by 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 and Sony Xperia T is powered by Snapdragon S4 MSM8260. Both Snapdragon S4 processors are dual-core and the RAM also 1GB.

The LG Optimus G Pro has 32GB of ROM followed by Sony Xperia T with 16GB then the Sony Xperia V with 8GB. All three devices supported MicroSD expansion. 

Camera

LG Optimus G Pro, Sony Xperia V and Sony Xperia T are having the 13-megapixels camera. But the front-facing camera that's making the difference. LG Optimus G Pro with 2.1-megapixels while Sony Xperia V with VGA and Sony Xperia T with 1.3-megapixel.

Battery

LG Optimus G Pro has the largest capacity battery at 3140mAh while Sony Xperia V and Sony Xperia T have the battery less than 2000mAh.

Verdict

LG Optimus G Pro and "The Bond Phone" Sony Xperia V are supported the LTE. If you need the fast speed of LTE, you can go for either one. LG Optimus G Pro is running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box but the Sony Xperia V and Sony Xperia T are running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. But the Jelly Bean update is scheduled for arrival to both Sony devices soon. You should decide yourself on which one to purchase after reading the analysis at above.

(GSM Insider) - Sony Xperia T Receiving Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update.

Its Sony time! The wait is over after Sony rolls out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for the Sony Xperia T LT30p. If you are the users of this device, it should arrive or it will arrive sooner or later.

Previously, Sony Xperia T was running on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has considered a little bit outdated since most of the flagships in the market already with Jelly Bean. But all the waiting is worth for it. 

The Jelly Bean update brings additional features like Google Now, Project Butter and battery improvement for your Sony Xperia T.

(GSM Insider) - Good News For Developers As Sony Xperia T Gets Jelly Bean Alpha ROM.

Finally, Sony releases the Jelly Bean Alpha ROM for the Sony Xperia T due to high demand. Since it was launched in the market, many developers are demanding for the Alpha ROM and its here.

This Sony Xperia T can flashes with the Alpha ROM after it was unlocked with the bootloader unlock utility. The tool is official from Sony, so you don't have to worry.

There are a few factors that you should consider before making any changes to your Sony Xperia T. Since it is only an Alpha ROM, so the features like WiFi, Bluetooth and Mobile Date are not functional. It's just like a "blank" ROM.

Sony smartphones users, Sony still remember about your devices as the Android 4.1 update coming to your devices. Ten models of Sony brand smartphones are getting the Jelly Bean update that starting from February next year.

Starting from February 2013: Sony Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V

Starting from March 2013: Sony Xperia P, Xperia J, Xperia Go

A few weeks after March 2013: Sony Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia Ion, Xperia Acro S

These are the 10 new devices that Sony promised to release Jelly Bean update. However, there are devices that not going beyond Android 4.0 is Sony Xperia U, Xperia Miro, Xperia Tipo, Xperia Tipo Dual and Xperia Sola



With this decision from Sony, there are people happy and there are people disappointed in this case. One thing we feel excited and worth to buy is the Sony Xperia J. It is a mid-lower level budget smartphone from Sony. In addition, it is going to receive Jelly Bean soon. How good is this?

Sony LT30i With Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie Spotted At Benchmark, Upgraded Version of Xperia T?

(GSM Insider) - Shit! Someone's Android device running on the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. Its the Sony LT30i that spotted at the Nenamark2 benchmark with Android 5.0 on board.


According to Nenamark2 benchmark, the Sony LT30i runing on Android 5.0.0 which is known as the Key Lime Pie. The processor is a 1.6GHz Snapdragon S4 MSM8260 dual-core. The GPU is the Adreno 220. It has HD resolution as well.

With such low specs, there are doubts whether this is a real device. I wonder how a dual-core smartphone able to run on Android 5.0 that yet to announce by Google

From another point, Sony LT30i is similar with the Sony Xperia T LT30p. So it could be the upgraded version of Sony Xperia T which is also known as the Bond Phone.

Both Sony Xperia T and Sony Xperia V are powered by Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor. From the processor aspect, both Sony Xperias already lose to Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core. However, the display resolution of Sony Xperia T and Sony Xperia V better than the LG Nexus 4

If you need smartphone for capturing sweet memory with high quality of camera, you can go for Sony Xperia T and Sony Xperia V. Both Sony devices with 13 mega-pixel of camera while LG Nexus 4 only with 8 mega-pixel camera. Sony always comes out with those high quality camera in phone. Just like the previous Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot Series a few years back. 

The battery capacity of Sony Xperia T and Sony Xperia V also smaller than the LG Nexus 4. You might need extra power bank or portable charger if you are Sony Xperia user. The main advantage for both Sony is they support microSD expansion up to 32GB. Good for those capturing a lot of photos.
