Wine For Android Brings Windows Apps To Your Devices, But Still On Early Stage

(GSM Insider) - Wine For Android Brings Windows Apps To Your Devices, But Still On Early Stage.

Wine isn't the red colored drink for your party. The Wine is a software that will enable you to run Windows applications on your Android devices in the future. This "Wine" is a real matter as it isn't an emulator.

At the FOSDEM 2013, Wine was showcased running on Android environment. Previously, Wine provides installation of Windows apps on Linux, MAC OS and other platforms. Wine shouldn't be a stranger for those who using the platforms.

Codeweavers and Wine's original developer, Alexandre Julliard demoed Wine on an Apple MacBook running Linux and the Android emulator. Julliard blames the Android emulator for the main reason for slow responsive of Wine. It should be smoother if running on Android itself.

The development of Wine for Android still on early stage. Much need to be tweaked and improved if the Wine read for launch at the Google Play.
