(GSM Insider) - Samsung Says It Doesn't Intend To Lead The Market.

The truth is Samsung dominates in most of the regions around the world, except the United States market that is still dominated by Apple. Samsung turned from a follower to a leader in less than five years. But what Samsung thinks about the leader position?

New York Times reported that Samsung doesn't intend to drive the market at the beginning.

“We get most of our ideas from the market,” said Kim Hyun-suk, an executive vice president at Samsung, in a conversation about the future of mobile devices and television. “The market is a driver, so we don’t intend to drive the market in a certain direction,” he said. - NYTimes.

You might feel that the Samsung exec is humble and polite after all. But it is true that Samsung dominates the global smartphone market include the China as well. Seems like Apple needs more innovations to turn the situation around.
