(GSM Insider) - Huawei CEO Says World's Thinnest Phone Needs To Wait For A Few Months.

At the CES 2013 on last month, Huawei CEO Richard Yu confirmed that Huawei is set to release the world's thinnest smartphone that eclipses the 6.45mm of Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra. 

Two days earlier, Huawei unveiled the Ascend P2 at the MWC 2013. It is rather disappointing that the Huawei Ascend P2 isn't the world's thinnest phone as its body has 8.4 mm measurement. Huawei Ascend P2 being labelled as the world's fastest LTE smartphone instead of the thinnest phone.

You don't need to be disappointed as Huawei CEO reveals more details in an interview. He stated that it can be confirmed that the thinnest phone already in works and he is using the thinnest phone as well. But the launch of the device delayed for a couple of months.
