Acer And Intel Launch Lexington-Powered Liquid C1 In Southeast Asia

(GSM Insider) - Acer And Intel Launch Lexington-Powered Liquid C1 In Southeast Asia.

Earlier today, Acer and Intel joined hands and launch a new device in Thailand. It is the Acer Liquid C1. Its another device added into the Acer Liquid Series. But this Acer Liquid C1 is slightly different than other Liquid devices.

Since the Acer Liquid C1 was launched by Acer and its partner, the device must be an "Intel Inside" device. The Acer Liquid C1 is indeed powered by the 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 Lexington processor. Acer Liquid C1 is also the first Acer smartphone with Intel processor.

Acer Liquid C1 with an Intel Lexington processor inside, then it won't be a high end device. It features a 4.3-inch IPS display with 960 x 540 resolution. So the display isn't small as it is larger than the iPhone 5. It is packed with 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera that sufficient for daily usage.

Other specs of Acer Liquid C1 included 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a MicroSD slot, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 2,000mAh battery. The only let down is this Acer Liquid C1 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. No idea whether it is going to get Jelly Bean treat in the future.

Acer Liquid C1 is priced at $335 at Southeast Asian market. Thailand will get the Acer Liquid C1 starting from this month before heading to more neighbors soon.
