From the title above, you can knew that it is a real quad-core monster coming soon for mobile device. It is the Tegra 4 quad-core processor, from NVIDIA, codename Wayne.
According to Chinese website Chip Hell, the posted on the features of Tegra 4 "Wayne". It is suppose a 5-core processor. Because it has "4+1" quad-core Eagle where the 5th processor is the battery saver core. It has 72-core Graphic Processing Unit which is 20 times the speed of Tegra 2 and 6 times of Tegra 3. So you can imagine it is 7 times faster than Nexus 7 and HTC One X.
NVIDIA Tegra 4 supports DDR3L, LPDDR2 and LPDDR3 dual-channel memory. It supports full 1440p video which is exceeded the 1080p Full HD video. This Tegra 4 was built based on 28nm architecture.
With this possible features of the Tegra 4 "Wayne", it poses a serious threat to all the processor in the market. Try to image it is 6 times faster than the Tegra 3.
